An area of land and its buildings, used for growing crops and rearing animals.
Example: To begin with, many farmers are using technology and scientific approaches to managing their farms these days.

adjective
Resistant to a particular infection or toxin owing to the presence of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells.
Example: And then, the over usage of pesticides in farming has made pests became more immune and made the ecosystem became imbalanced.
old-fashioned
adjective
In or according to styles or types no longer current; not modern.
Example: In my opinion, I do believe that the old-fashioned ways are better.
organic
adjective
(of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals.
Example: As a result, many people prefer to purchase organic fruits and vegetables nowadays, as they realize that qualities of these organic foods are better than the industrialized ones.
productivity
noun
The effectiveness of productive effort, especially in industry, as measured in terms of the rate of output per unit of input.
Example: They believe that by using technology such as tractors and dozers or using advanced chemical fertilizer, it will increase their productivity.
technological
adjective
Relating to or using technology.
Example: However, many people do not realize that the usage of these advanced technological approaches has some side effects.
traditional
adjective
Existing in or as part of a tradition; long-established.
Example: They manage their plantations using traditional tools such as using cows, horses and traditional carts.
